For a couple like Phoebe and Ram, witnessing weddings is just the norm, but on that one blessed afternoon in February at their farm by the brook, all of their loved ones—including their family and friends, their dogs, Ram’s horse, the trees, the birds, or more specifically, nature—witnessed the love and the most perfect wedding they could have ever imagined. And just like the excerpt of Ram’s vow to Pheobe, “Babe, we’ve shot hundreds of weddings already – mapa-beach, garden, destination, cliff, forest, Indian, military, intimate, and lots more. But babe, I can easily say that this wedding by far is my favorite, and forever will be. I love you.”
This lovely couple is an exemplar of how to put our faith in the Lord and His plans because, despite all the difficulties we face on the way to the day we have been praying for, He always has the best in store for everyone. What God has already ordained cannot be halted by a weather forecast, a low-pressure area, a flash flood, rain, nor a storm. Phoebe and Ram were tested during these circumstances, just as what they have been through during the span of their relationship before they decided to finally tie the knot. Thus, as they strived to be the best versions of themselves, they accepted the Lord to serve as the cornerstone of their love.
That day, witnessing how Ram and Phoebe glided through their relationship, everyone attested that love isn’t just about butterflies and all the lovely things; it’s also about having the ability to be compassionate and sacrificial, to be a beacon of light during the dark days. Love also entails heartbreaks and tough moments, as well as forgiveness and being unconditional. Though it may bend, it will never break. And in the darkness, this kind of love will always shine the brightest. And love at its best is also about knowing the Lord together.
With all the joy and greatness and in the mundane, Ram and Phoebe will have their journey through life together, hand in hand, until Jesus takes them home. #KamiNaman2023
